(Abstract)
Drug-eluting stents (DES) have greatly reduced the possibility of in-stent restenosis by inhibiting neointimal growth. But recently stent fracture has emerged as a complication. We describe a case of paclitaxel-eluting stent fracture after successful percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) for chronic total occlusion using retrograde approach.
